ICU Registered Nurse

We have a full time opening for an ICU RN , this is an ideal opportunity for a Registered Nurse interested in working with an outstanding team in the beautiful, family friendly community of the Carson Valley.

Position Summary for the Med/Surg ICU Registered Nurse: Provides professional nursing care to patients utilizing established policies and procedures ensuring safe and effective care; provides age appropriate care from infant through the geriatric patient based on the population served; assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team; demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to Identify and meet the individual needs of all patients served.

POSITION REQUIREMENT

Minimum Education

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing

• Current Nevada Registered Nurse license

• BLS and ACLS required

Minimum Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months ICU experience, 2 years’ ICU experience preferred.

• Professional customer service skills

• Ability to read and communicate in English, bilingual abilities preferred.
