Physician Assistant - Cardiology

Our cardiology team is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
Position Summary:The Cardiology PA-C will work in collaboration with cardiologists and other providers to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care. This role includes managing patients in the outpatient setting, inpatient consults, and post-procedural follow-up. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in cardiology, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed histories and physical exams
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (EKGs, echos, stress tests, labs, etc.)
- Assist in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions (e.g., heart failure, arrhythmias, CAD)
- Perform hospital rounds and inpatient consults as needed (No On Call Work)
- Provide pre- and post-procedural care and patient education
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active and unrestricted PA license in the US Virgin Islands
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Previous experience in cardiology
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Schedule:
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Occasional Saturday clinics if needed
